Veronica M. Liburd is a hairdressing business owner, lecturer, psychotherapist, and debut author. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is a praying woman of deep Christian faith who reached the blessed age of 70 in the year her first book, A Better Tomorrow, was published.
Born in Gingerland, Nevis, in 1955, Veronica’s life has been shaped by both profound challenges and remarkable resilience. Her experiences of abandonment, abuse, racial bullying, and personal loss have been transformed through faith, forgiveness, and an unwavering commitment to personal growth. As a qualified psychotherapist and experienced lecturer, she has dedicated much of her life to helping others heal and find their voice.
Veronica continues to run her successful hairdressing business while mentoring and supporting her family. She lives in the West Midlands, United Kingdom, where she remains actively involved in her church and community. Her greatest joy comes from spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, always guided by the belief that God’s hand is upon her life.
